 +**Due to organisatoric reasons the satellite workshop right after the annual meeting of the DGK has been canceled.**

 +**Instead we will offer a satellite workshop around the german conference about research with synchrotron, neutron and ion radiation on large scale facilities (also known as SNI) in September 2018 in Garching.** 
 +The workshop will offer lectures on the basics and various methods and examples of diffraction, spectroscopy, etc. with neutrons, X-rays/synchtrotron and ions focusing on how to combine these methods in a smart way for nowadays crystallographic/structural aspects in various topics. Also, there will be the opportunity for detailed discussions and exchange of experience between users and instrument scientists.
