This is an old revision of the document!

Installation of the Takin

There is not yet installer of Takin. Compiled version can be runned standalone without any installation. In order to run Takin:

  • Windows
    1. Download latest windows version
    2. Unpack downloaded file. We recommend to use open source utility 7-Zip.
    3. Run takin.exe
  • MAC
    1. Download latest mac version
    2. Use ⌘-click on downloaded file and select “open” (because app is currently unsigned)
  • Linux
    • Sorry, there are not yet compiled packages of takin. You should compile takin from a source.
